  The American Association of Homecare held its annual legislative conference On March 1 – 3 in Washington D.C.  Attending this event for Fuller Rehab was Don Bates, Executive Vice President of Industry Affairs.
 
 The American Association of Homecare held its annual legislative conference On March 1 – 3 in Washington D.C.  Attending this event for Fuller Rehab was Don Bates, Executive Vice President of Industry Affairs.  Conference attendees worked on various regulatory and legislative projects, attended committee work sessions, received updates on the status of legislation such as competitive bidding, elimination of the first month purchase option, and the health care reform bill in general.  In addition, attendees met with their members of Congress to explain the benefits of home care and home medical equipment and how pending legislation would affect suppliers’ ability to maintain high levels of service for our Medicare beneficiaries.  Fuller Rehab is an active member of the association.  Carter Fuller serves as a board member and Don Bates serves on the Complex Rehab and Mobility Council.
